Have I ever note that I'm taking a LLEA270, "Freaks And Monsters" class this semester?
it is quite interesting class learning about monstrous animals and sometimes human beings
who we would commonly referred to them as disabled nowadays..

For the upcoming quiz, the class was required to watch a Beauty and the Beast
film and our professor highly encouraged that we watch the non-disney film..
so I've attended the movie viewing session.. and it was quite a show..

of course, due to the age of the film, the quality and techs were outdated, but I was
amazed at how organized the movie was set as well as the actors.. especially
the beast who i would rather refer as a creeper.. (haha)


I really found it interesting to see the entire film and although i found myself checking up
on the time a lot, but I couldn't deny the fact that I was swallowed by the film itself :]

It's perhaps the first time that I ever house-sat someone's place.
And it was no other than my co-worker's home :3.. so it was very enjoyable..
Before he went down onto his trip, he invited us (my friend and me) over to his place
and cooked us dinner. From that we already felt it home.

He had two bed rooms, one of which had a guest bed and a computer in it.
in the living room, he had two fish tanks, and a comfy couch :]..
the first few nights, i spend my time catching a couple of hours on the couch..

um.. we watched over his house for just a week worth of time, but was very
enjoyable.. his house was somewhat far from the town area, nearly an hour
drive through H-1 when there was no traffic.

Perhaps this experience was one of .. those experiences where I felt i left the home..
to live on my own or with a roommate. I can't get my thoughts very organized at the
moment, but surely, i can conclude that it was fun watching over a house..

And we also invited few of our friends on the last night of the house-sit and.
just spent a night together playing board games and having a few drinks that
the house owner generously set for us :3..

It was just another day in school.. a day with the weather that would often give you the shivers.
Deprived of sleep, I thought it was a good idea to sleep @ the lounge in the campus center.
Where I soon realized that it wasn't such a good idea when the vent was right over my bed;
giving me the shivers right through my joints. So i decided to head down to a grassy area
where a sun would shine over me :3 (because I'm that romantic). I was craving for the
time alone, lying on over clean cut grass, under a bright shining sun. So.. that's exactly
what I ended up doing :].

Lying down on clean cut grass as looking up on a bright blue sky.. Then my mind blurred..
Then, images sharpened before my eyes. A vision and thoughts to, and of myself.

was busy being carried on with growing up and out of..
That's exactly what I'm used to ...
But I sure miss those days..
when we had grown into and got down
with each others...
Just because we were so eagered to be grown up..
we've given up what was so important to us..

haha.. idk.. just one of those days when words flow into your head for and with reasons..

This is how you order food @ McDonalds.
I really like it when people get creative in what they do.. It doesn't have to be something that blows everyone's mind but.. something that can be done, anywhere and anytime in our normal daily doings.. just purely awesome I would say :]

Few nights ago, my buddies and I met up w/ one of our home dawg's dad...
It was just to grab some grubs.. But also, we were offered a job to recreate/renewal
one of his websites... He gave us choices of three of which we get to choose which
project we prefer to work on. I'm more excited for this project, whether or not we can
really pull this off, because it's the first hired-on-the-job project w/ my real buddies.

Surely, the project won't be at ease. There are much codings to be done and organization; even more.
He pretty much had the basic outlook of the website, but the site itself was not functional.
So for most part, we would have to concentrate on how to make the site functional...
I've thought of many possibilities as we were in a meeting/dinner. One of which was
integrating the open-sourced forum system which i think i can add the functional necessities
for the site.

The topic or the site content is actually ... haha nvm i don't think i can say this over the net..
or probably not even in person.. but.. it is quite interesting and i'm sure it's not over a net
just yet. I'm just excited that this project is somewhat on the go, as we are still having
meetings for this.

Well, more to go! and I'll keep the blog updated :]

It's been a long time, since I've last written on this blog.
 As I've been careless to take care of this blog, I had also started another, Guruin.
I would rather admit to say that I had almost completely forgot of this one;
though, I've been able to manage to come back and look through the past postings.
Things written here most definitely brings back the memory.

I can't promise to say that the postings would continue on here,
but there will be some updates and it'd most likely to be my journal.
I had already made few changes such that the upper google advertisements
have been removed (due to malfunctionalities ) and the textcube solution is
also upgraded to the newest and most recent version blocking off
all the spam and hacking possibilities.

In near future, new postings will be updated shortly :]

Oh!, today's the day after christmas. Merry Christmas and Happy new year, guys :]

So, it's been awhile since the last time I was able to leave an entry. Well, my time are always flexible, but it seems as if I can't concentrate on things at the moment. So anyways, at least I'm back on track :]. Any new thing that has happened recently? To give myself a little slack and try out some new things, I bought myself an ipod in pretty decent price.

new/refurbished for 200 dollars. Sounds decent to me :]

So I've been fooling around with it recently. Going on it in class, listening to music and spend some quality(?) time with friends through facebook :]. But something felt lacking.
So I gave it a shot and hacked my ipod to get cydia and installous. Very happy with the result I got. But I can't say I got here with ease. Had to tweak here and there and with some technical difficulties, I had to waste away couple hours into it.
But in the end, it all worked out :] and unlike my original plan which was to finish it up early and get to bed, I'm still up reporting what I've went through tonight. ^^;

I'll report more about it sometime tomorrow or on saturday, but for now, good night guys :]

I guess it was just yesterday, when I was introduced to this Japanese drama(?), Hana Kimi. First I was very skeptical with the story and pondered whether I should try it out by watching it or just passing it along. But, as much time I was provided after having done with all the midterm, I just thought of giving it a try. So here it went. Story was based on a ridiculous settings where a school accepted students for their looks rather than grades. So I assume they are some kind of a private school. This video kind of reminded me of 'Flower over Boys' a korean re-made movie originating from a japanese comic book. But after all, This too is a Japanese drama. Anyhow, I was somewhat interested into the whole drama because of the fact that it dealt with Track and more so over, a high jump, my event :] (Unfortunately, I wasn't so talented with it) Anyhow after over 2 days of watching the videos (well not consecutively) I finally got done with it. It was like 12 episodes overall and I think it was like 1 hour per episode? -_- so i guess i pretty much spent 12 hours on these. The video was introduced to me through the url (http://www.mysoju.com/hana-kimi/) and I guess it was pretty worth awhile.

It's been awhile, since the last time i really left a blog entry. There's been lots of things going on. New semester started, mid terms and such. However, if there was one thing that i never brought up on most of my other entries, its probably about working. So, i have working for last how many months. I would say, I have really become one of the family there at 'islands' let's see... oh yeh! Not to mention that i got to be the employee of the month! :] especially on February when my birthday is! :]

AHH i got off the subject.. anyhow! on 2009 Valentine's day. there really had been nothing going on other than working. Yes.. i worked on the valentine's day. not to mention the day before and after valentine's day. the day before, i worked as a host. :] and i should say, it was quite busy. we were slammed every minutes i was there and i was really stressed. on the day of valentine's day, i worked as a host. it was slammed even more than on the day before, of course. our crew did really well and we were able to manage to pull of for the night :] not to mention that i was able to make a decent amount of tips and pay :].

kind of sad talking about working on valentine's day.. but .. really, nothing happened other than that;;

Approximately 6:45 PM in Hawaii, Oahu had lost its power according to the spokesman of Hawaiian Electric Co. However, it wasn't till two hours later when the entire islands of Oahu has lost its power due to outage in the generators also. In reference to many of the Informational Websites, power outage had left outage in island's population of 900,000 people and thousands of tourists including vacationing President-elect Barack Obama.

By 6 o'clock in the morning,about 113,000 customer's power has been retored, mostly on the west side of the island. However, it's not till later the remaining of the island's population will gain back their power.

Gov. Linda Lingle has said that the utility will be taking one of the generator to Obama, elected-president's rented beach house, but was informed that he has had already 3 generators in position.

The outage seem to be caused by the thunderstorm little after sun has set, but thunderstorm soon calmed, leaving the island under dark.

As for me, I was in Ala Moana Shopping Center working on my part-time job. Around 7 O'clock we had our power out, leaving most of our customers under ruckus. By 7:45, we had most of our customers leave after their manual check outs and our managements had finally decided to close down the place. By 8 o'clock the employees were informed that we are able to leave after cleaning up some of the mess. Although it was a unconvinient experience, it's one of the 'happenings' that it seems to me as I can share with my co-workers.

Currently, I'm at post by my cell phone since the restaurant has still not gained back its power and I was informed that it's not till later on that we will be opening up again.
