It was surely a good experience. Since it was the very first job that i've been offered, i really didn't know what i was supposed to do nor who to followed. but gratefully, there were trainers who were assigned to us. My trainer was Chad and he helped me with so many things that would've took me days to memorize.

At first, for things that i've been thrown into, i was not so sure i could do it. And also made mistakes through it. But as hours go by, i got used to most of the things and what i should be doing. I still am not fully acknowledged of what i am supposed to do since i've pretty much done almost everything that this job consist of, but during the shift.. i am not too sure.

First day of the job, i was very nervous and this kept my body tense. but as work was finished, my body lost its tense and i fell asleep for over 12 hrs. Overall i really think it was a change in my life from a plain student who'd ask parents for everything to a responsible (hopefully) one who can do his own of whatever it may be.

To those of whom doesn't know where i work, i'll tell you when my training shifts are over :]

yay :].. lol.. i heard you guys visited.. its just.. that..
you guys came on the wrong day >w<

It's been almost a month since the summer started. Yet, i haven't really accomplished anything other than something, computer related. I guess i had too much time to myself and i've only spent them on the computer. Website designs and functions were improved and blogs were updated.

There had been couple changes in my life. For the very first, i've got a job :] .. i start working from next week.. this cause me to be a bit nervous, but at the same time, excited ^-^. From time to time, i'll make sure i update on blogs and keep it updated about my leisure time and working time ^--^.. hopefully one day, i'll go through the working place and reveal its working backgrounds.

I also got a letter today that i've been fully admitted to University of Hawaii @ Manoa. I was kind of nervous that i might have gotten a low grade on my last quarter of High school, but i guess it worked out fine :] ..

Other there this, nothing much had been going on nor been accomplished. But i like the way they are now.. chilled & laid back. :]

Hope i see those ones that i've not seen over the break so far.. and maybe cruise together ^--^

June 3rd, 2008, Kalani High school sent off about 200 senior students [ 9 valedictorians and 46 honor graduates ] in their graduation. I should say, I am honored to be one of the students in the '08 class. We were introduced to the audience as the 50th, the golden year, graduating class.

Over last 4 years of Kalani high school, there were lots of things that had happened. They consist of getting to know new friends, new inside jokes, participating in athletic events, and achieving goals academically. Out of all the fellow students, I probably could only name those few that I was close with, but inside my heart, we all remain as the one, the class of '08. We pretty much represented the school. Academically, our class exceed in every graded tests. Atheletically, we swept the State of Hawaii and stood before others. In many other things, we exceeded and proudly represented our school. However, we are now graduates who now represents not as students of Kalani High school, but as the alumnis of Kalani High school.

Graduation were followed by 2 songs, Hawai'i Pono'i and America the Beautiful. Throughout ceremony, we presented to the audience our 8 out of 9 valedictorians [ One did not attend the graduation ] and 46 honor graduates. Then after our celebration of finally maturing and being part of 'the real world', we ended our graduation with songs by jet jackson and Beatles.

After graduation ceremony, the graduates, families, and friends were then led to this other place where all the graduates were lei'ed and receive their congratulations. I, too, was buried under uncountable lei's in blessings of family members and friends.

Then the graduates were led to the bus on their way to project grad. The main purpose of this was to prevent alcohol and drug abuse on the night of graduation. So by keeping the graduates together, we were able to bond and avoid the intoxication on the graduation night. We were led to this officer's lounge in the Marine base. This place was like an informal banquet. we had a nice dinner, followed by games such as, guitar hero3, balloon art, air tattoo, hulahoop contest then we had choice of whether to swim, play mini golf, batting, and bumper boat. Then when we all got back to the lounge, we were entertained by the hypnotist.

This was the night to never forget. The day that will change our lives.

'01 Liholiho Reunion

2008/06/03 08:05 / Daily Life

Today, June 2nd 2008, was our '01 Liholiho elementary's little reunion day. There were about 11 peoples who showed up to the school. There were Micah, Mandy, Melissa, Nicole, James, Deon, Kailey, Nick, Noah, JR and Me.

We first went to the office in request for permission as the guest to the school, visiting. Easily, we were able to face the teachers who recognized us. But because I only attended the school for 3 years and had a same teacher for 2 years, not much faculties remembered me.

Then we were informed that our favorite teacher, mrs. maekawa, was still in school as a substitute. We decided to give her a visit and suprised her with our visitation. She, too, was excited of our visits. She then notified us that today was her last day of her substitution also and is pretty much done with substituting or working as a teacher. We had a quick follow up and catching up talk for about an hour and half and gave a visit back to the office.

Back in the office, we were able to meet up with our old principal, mrs. small. I was suprised again by how all the teachers in the office recognized us. Then they treated us with the crackers, brownies and soda ^--^. They were awesome.

When everything was done, the rest of us, Micah,Mandy, Melissa, James, Nick, JR and I hung out in the middle of the school where we used to take pictures every year. I should say this little reunion was interesting, but was disappointed that not many of our friends could make it. Promising to hang out next time, we then all went on our ways again.. Hoping to not forget the ol' days.

lol wats awp.. :].. of course i went to liholiho..
das where it all started ... having ms. johnson twice..
in my 3 years of elem skul in hawaii.. what a luck -_-..

Well, I would say there aren't much to say.. But if you know our crew, you should already know that we don't really get opportunities to stay out and have sleep overs. Pretty much, all we do is, go to school, come home, do homework.. and once in awhile.. meet up and hang out.. but at the end of the day, find ourselves heading home before the moon rises.

Anyways, this time, it was different. Adrian De Silva, Dylan Taschner, Kris Nip, Lindsey Nip, Josh Nichols, Scott Maier and I stayed up almost all night tweaking on our computers.. and the best part is that we were all in one place.. it may sounds like a total sausage fest, yet this is once in a life time thing when we could all stay out [although Adrian had to head home around 2]..

We all set up our computers on this balcony side w/ the table and connected through a lan. W/o a doubt, we spent the whole day laughin at things that we did. This is probably the most epic sleepover that I've had in my entire life so far.

I feel that this sleepover was even more special because this is the last year of our high school. Leaving only 9 days of high school, we'd been able to come together and spend times before some of us leave for college.

I personally value friendship and memories over anything. So this sleepover probably felt most important to me recently.

Ok.. I'm not done yet.. after sleeping 4 hrs (tweaking on CS until 5:30 in the morning), we spent time gathering up our things.. then later, Scott, Adrian and I had to attend our friend, Jon Pang's birthday party. Thus we left Dylan's house..

But as we were about to leave, Scott's car had died.. and we were stuck.. Thanks to the nice neighbor next door, we were able to jump start the car and leave the place to our next destination.. However, that also.. wasn't the end -_-.. as we tried to start the car, it wouldn't start up again.. Thus scott and I had to go to the AutoMechanics and get the car battery replaced.. It was quite an experience..

Then we got epic presents for Jon Pang.. and yeh~.. :) it was pretty awesome..
the birthday party, too, was awesome :) thank you Jon.

Yep, that's all for this weekend.. I'm beat.. need sleep~

hm.. i think that was the longest you've ever written about a story ji soo :D it seemed like so much fun.. i wish i could have days like that more often.. like if i had sleep overs or what ever.. then it would be kind of boring because we wouldn't know what to do or anything.. either.. watch tv.. eat.. or if the person's house had video games.. we'd play.. but that's all >.<.. and plus.. because.. i think out of like jill and keaton them and stuffies.. i'm the only one that loves to be on the computer all the time -___-.. so i can hardly relate to them when we do 'bondings' and thingies like that.. but jon's birthday looked fun too! i saw him carrying linnea in grace's pictures.. haha.. ^^ you're so lucky to do so many different things! that's my goal.. make summer time more exciting ^^

nah but i know what you mean. you guys don't usually get to stay out late..

The 19th of April, 2008 was Kalani High School's Senior Prom.
My date's name was Jill Fukumoto and i should say.. she's a cool kid (LMAO)
' Yeh.. I don't want to be mean, but don't want to be too nice either.. '
Prom was alright for the most part. It's just that I think it could've been better.

It took me awhile to get all the pictures from everyone..
I did take my camera to prom, but it was weighing me down with it HUGE self..
so i decided to check them in and just mooch off of other people's camera :)
Here are some of those pictures..
Picture w/ Dari, JR, Jenn, Grace & Karen, and Chris & JR

And here are the ones that was too big to fit in the other ones..
The first one was at the Prom w/ Jill (my date) and second one was with saori.
And the last one was with Jill again, before Prom

Gosh my date seems so frustrated.. haha..

So, I have been looking up random videos in 'youtube' (http://youtube.com) and found something pretty interesting. When you look up "korean high school girls" in youtube, you will be given these two videos on the top w/ an exact same title. HOWEVER, you will then see, how different these videos are.. or what they have in content. These are the two videos.

1. Set your standards in clothing.

The safest ones are ones with dark colors and tones, and often with simple lines. Set these items as your standard in clothes.

2. Grow out of your immaturity.

Shirts with designs of skulls and animations are either for clowns or little kids! Grow out of immaturity, and try to fit the items that matches your age. Girls will no longer think it is cute when you show off your 'cute doggie' shirt.

3. Say 'No!' to pants with folds

Pants with folds are the old fashion. Straight pants makes your legs look long and stylish.

4. One button jacket.

Especially for ones who are short and chubby, avoid two button jackets. one button jacket will make your waist look longer and slimer.

5. 100% cotton dress shirts.

Must buy 100% cotton dress shirts and always get it washed at the dry cleaners. And to prevent the folds, always hang it in your closet with a hanger.

6. Know your size.

You have to actually wear the clothes that fit you. Even with just one of your clothes too small or too big, it will mess up with rest of what you are wearing.

7. Don't be cheap when it comes to altering.

If your pants are too long or your suit is too boxy, don't be afraid to alter it. The price for it is probably not even that expensive, and it will look even better than what you expect.

8. Belt and Shoes are Sets!

Match the style of your belt and shoes. Most likely, black and black matches the best.

9. Utilize the glasses.

Glasses can either Boost your style or make you look really stupid. Avoid bright frame and choose your 2nd choice glasses rather than your 1st. Your 1st choice could possibly too extreme for others to see.

10. Watches with style.

Silver stainless watches match just about any kinds of clothing, while black lines provide more manly feeling into the style. And let's try to avoid wearing a sports watch unless you are participating in a sports.

11. Say good-bye to your rings.

Keep your high school & College graduation rings in a closet. People might mistakenly think you are in a relationship or married.

12. Slim wallet prevents lop-sided butt.

Keep your wallet slim. Get rid of all the receipts and coins, keep it clean.

The Eye, Shaizer Story

Today, I watched the movie, 'The Eye', performed by my favorite movie star,
Jessica Alba :) I should say, I'm surely impressed by her. This movie might have
been most challenging for Jessica since it's something totally different from what
she had been filming until now.

In the movie, she plays a eye transplant recipient who ends up seeing ghosts.
(Which by the way, freaked the ShaiZah out of me also. D: )

'The Eye' was based on an asian horror film which i also had happened to see them.
I personally don't like scary movies and what not, but what can I say, I do like Jessica
that much :).

Well, I did learn a new lesson :) that scary movies aren't really that scary when
there's a pretty girl to stare at, throughout the whole movie :) CHEEHOO!!

1. Comes 5 minutes late on a date.

Most people think girls can be late to a date at least for 30-40 minutes, but that's an old school way of thinking. Come out early from your place then watch him come from aside. After 5 minutes, run out as if you were late to the place.

2. Sit next to a guy that you are interested in.

By a psychological theory, feelings are expressed through distance between people. As a girl gets closer to a guy, the guy feel more interested in a girl sitting next him. If you met a guy you are interested in, i highly recommend that you sit next to him rather than in front of him.

3. Act as if you are always interested.

Guys don't like girls who is strong minded. Unless the guy is a total turn-off, act as if you are listening to what he's saying and smile every-so-often to express how much fun you are having.

4. Don't be straight forward, learn to go around.

If you clearly express what you "like" and "dislike", it makes you look very strong. Try to avoid using negative words such as 'never' and 'hate'.

5. Use your cellphone.

Try not to ask a guy to a date, even if you are interested. However, you can send text messages that would leave guys that you are somewhat interested. This only works after the first date.

6. Act as if you get all the attention

I don't mean it as in being "i'm all that", but try to act as if you are someone who gets call from all the guys in earth. Try to keep the text messages and calls going, in order to make the opponent to think that you are the "popular" one. Even the calls from your girl-friends, lets try to act it out and transform them into calls from guy-friends.

7. Be Random(?).

The first impression that you want to get it across men, are that you are not boring. Somethings totally random like not answering your phone or not showing up on a date would make guys to feel in tense and that they need to keep in touch with you.

8. Always leave something behind.

Place like his room, office, car would be perfect to leave your phone, wallet or namecards. As in excuse, the guys would have to see you again. If they respond with, "i'll send it to you through mail", say you are close by and would pick you up. This requires somewhat of fast comeback skills.

9. Use him as an advisor.

Someone who you tell your problems and seek advice from, has to be someone close. Act as if this little problem had broken your heart and depend on him by asking him for advice. But, do not ask advices for something that's really big. They might feel burdened by you.

10. Taste what he's eating.

Take a sip of what he was drinking, or take a bite of what he has ordered. This take a big part in getting to know each other. It works the best especially when you use the same fork that he was using or use the straw that he used to drink his drink. This would let guys to think as if it was a physical touch even when it wasn't.

11. Lure him into a physical touch.

I don't mean it as in very sexual way. But if we were to pretend that you are in the situation where everyone's drinking. Act as if you can't take on much alcohol and lean on his shoulder. And when you go to places where there are lots of people, lean towards the person you are interested in as you've been pushed. Even by a slight touch of your body, he probably would feel sudden interest through human instinct. But try not to get too touchy, where he would think you are trying to hook up with him.

well it wasn't really a recommendation of what they should do, but really of what guys think or.. jus me... so, jus for a tip, if they want attention from a guy, from a guy's point of view.. cuz really, this isn't really going to help that much.. its jus a way to start it off.. and its all on their own ^^.. yeh.. dats all ^^ jus a simple opinion ^^.. and you know i like mind games ^^

  3. Jenn :D 2008/03/20 05:05  Modify/Delete  Reply  Address

that's a funny! it's kind of cool since you can see.. what guys think kind of too.. so it's in a different perspective.. or kind of.. what you can kind of expect.. or see what happens if you were to do one of those things ^^ then.. maybe girls would be less.. hesitant to do certain things :D
